TOOLS DOWN: Joey Lightbulb's Work Xmas Party

Attention Stakeholders. We're so back.

Attendance is once again compulsory at the second annual TOOLS DOWN: Joey Lightbulb’s Work Christmas Party.

Last year was an all-time boogie with no HR meetings on the Monday, just core memories with friends who know how to Work It (Missy Elliott) on the DF. 

10 reasons why this will sell out:

1. Lightbulb is doing a FIVE HOUR SET IN THE ROUND 9pm-2am.

2.  One-off guest performances from Olympia, Kylie Auldist, Jalmar, Shay Reeves, Mark Ziegelaar, Sweetie & The Lady Tradies and more to be announced.

3. Those poles won't be in the way because we're 360 degrees. This is a Boiler Room style event where everyone is a part of the action.

4. You might hear music from Barry Can't Swim, Richie Hawtin, Tame Impala, Erol Alkan, Nina Simone, Ninajirachi, The Chemical Brothers, Modeselektor, Mele, Bontan, Thin White Duke, Patrick Hernandez, Tom Tom Club, Johnny Corporate, Radiohead, Gabriel Ananda, Sia, Tiga, Steve Bug, DJ T., DJ Touche, Tim Green, Murray Head, O'Flynn, Bob Sinclar,  Jamie xx, The Avalanches, The Presets, Pangaea, The Fugees and Underworld.

6. Lightbulb has SOLD OUT six Night Cat shows and this is his final Naarm-based headline show of the year. 

7. CRINGE is out. CRAZY is in.

8. As always, there will be a Runway Slay™  where the best dancers / colleagues will win drink cards.

9. The NO DICKHEADS rule is once again in place. Works in The Sup’, works in The Night Cat, will work here too.

10. This might be the best bit, the dress code. You can either come as you are, as you were as I want you to be or (drumroll) you and your squad make up a fake company and attend as business associates/colleagues. Think lanyards, ill-fitting ties, power suits etc. Because after all is said and done, what are friends but the company you keep? Last year The Business of Ferrets triumphed.
