Brisbane punk lifers Dune Rats return to their roots with the OLD MATES Tour - a run of intimate underplay shows through the pubs and coastal rooms where it all began.
The tour coincides with the release of OLD MATES, a new album collecting tracks from the band’s first three EPs alongside brand new single SHARKS and a re-recorded fan favourite FUCK IT!. It’s a full-circle release that captures the raw, reckless spirit that launched Dune Rats, while charging forward with the same no-rules energy they’re known for.
SHARKS leads the charge - a defiant, high-energy anthem about backing yourself, swimming against the current, and trusting your gut even when it feels insane. Paired with the newly re-recorded FUCK IT!, the release reconnects with the band’s early punk-garage sound while reminding fans why Dune Rats’ live shows remain loud, chaotic and community-driven.
Fresh off supporting YUNGBLUD on his Australian tour, the OLD MATES Tour strips things back - sweaty rooms, stacked singalongs, and maximum volume. Expect old favourites, new chaos, and the kind of nights that made Dune Rats what they are.
